The Formosa Territory is crafted for the demanding conditions of northern Australia, where heat, humidity, and safety are key considerations—whether you’re navigating rivers or venturing far offshore. Its wide and stable hull ensures confidence on the water, while the open fishing platform and lack of windscreen let you catch every breath of breeze on calm days. Designed for standing navigation, the rear-positioned centre console provides excellent visibility and control. The Territory’s elevated fishing platform, with a strong aluminium build and two drainage-equipped hatches, makes it ideal for observing from above, reaching high river banks, and storing gear for long trips.
The centre console is a streamlined 500mm wide, complete with a storage shelf to maximise deck space. The Formosa Territory also features three pedestal pole seats with slides and a total of six seat positions, giving you a highly versatile layout. For precision control during slow navigation, an Electric Motor Mount is welded to the port bow.
Standard Features of the Territory:
- Large aluminium Bowroller.
- 32mm handrails for secure movement.
- Tow-Catch™ Trailer capability for easy transport.
- Heavy-duty dive ladder for safe water access.
- Quality steering and a moulded fuel tank with sender and filter.
- Automatic bilge pump for safety.
- Transom deck tread and foam-filled hull for added stability.
- Electrical harness kit, three cleats, and four aluminium rod holders (six on models 635 and up).
- Aluminium Anchor Well reinforced with a thick rear sheet for mounting an electric anchor winch.
- Finished in white paint with Formosa graphics for a sleek appearance.
Popular options for the Territory include a Low-Profile Bait Board, Transom Live Well, Auxiliary Rear Motor Mount, and a plumbed Hand and Deck Wash, allowing you to customise your boat to suit your fishing needs.
Formosa boats are known for their stability at rest, and the Quad4™ Water Ballast system enhances this stability even further—especially in offshore conditions. From March 2023, the Quad4™ Water Ballast will come as standard for all new Territory orders.

Why Choose a Formosa for Space and Stability?
Formosa boats are renowned for their spacious decks, extending all the way to the bow. Several key design elements combine to create this generous space, including the perfect balance of deadrise, reverse chine, wide beam, generous freeboard, and ergonomic layout. These features make the boat feel larger than its size, offering a stable platform for all-day enjoyment on the water.
While some boats with sharper deadrises may cut travel time slightly, they often sacrifice comfort and space—especially on long, rough days with multiple passengers. At Formosa, we believe performance isn’t just about speed, but also about comfort at rest. Compare a Formosa to others on the market and you’ll be surprised by the space it offers.
4-Year Structural Hull Warranty
Formosa Marine offers a 4-year warranty on the hull structure to the original purchaser, covering any defects in material or workmanship on all hulls built from 2018 onwards. Additionally, there’s a 1-year warranty for all Formosa Marine factory-fitted parts and accessories, including cabins, launchers, tops, fittings, and optional extras, which may experience movement with use.

Quad4™ Water Ballast System
The innovative Quad4™ Water Ballast system features an industry-leading ‘Off Keel’ counterbalance design, providing unparalleled on-water stability. Unlike traditional keel ballasts, the Quad4™ uses four chambers, combined with a wide beam and reverse chine hull, to minimise hull roll caused by swells or internal passenger movement.
When underway, the longitudinal stringers empty rapidly, allowing the boat to get on plane seamlessly without compromising performance. This advanced system is now standard on all Formosa models from March 2023, offering you a stable and smooth ride, no matter the conditions.
