Aluminium Welder, Fabricator, Sheet Metal, Boilermaker
Formosa Marine is an expanding aluminium boat building company looking for 1st and 2nd class welder/fabricators, to join their team on a fulltime basis.
If you enjoy boating or fishing then this is an opportunity to work in a clean, easy work environment that involves the manufacture of a product of your interest. Welding mostly 3mm and 4mm aluminium on mid-size pleasure boats, you will have all tools provided including the use of a Fronius pulse MIG welder. All fabricated parts are also CNC router cut, making assembly straight forward.
In addition to a competitive hourly rate, we operate a Monday to Thursday working week (6.30am to 4.30pm) so every week can be a long weekend. Friday work is also available when required.
We are seeking someone that is looking for long term employment and enjoys contributing ideas. Opportunities to further progress in the company are also available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Aluminium MIG welding skills
- Good fabrication skills
- High level of commitment
Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience and ability. Instant start, would best suit candidates located locally.
